About the Sewing Pattern Designer

The creative process:

Each product starts from a little spark of an idea. Whether its a problem to solve or a need to put a ruffle on a sewing pattern for kids, the idea then spreads out to a full concept. Through many iterations, and drafts and sometimes scrapping everything and starting all over again, I work to design make each indie sewing pattern special. Whether its a children's sewing pattern or a gift for someone who is hard to shop for, each product is designed with coffee and care. 

About Fionna:

In 2010, I left a career in health sciences to pursue a creative path and began studying textiles at Sheridan College. In 2013, I started my small business which has been challenging, hard and a lot of fun. 

My work has been shown at Toronto Fashion Week, NY Now and more. My collection of children's sewing patterns can be found in independent retailers across North America. I live in downtown Toronto, Ontario with my husband, daughter and 2 black cats.
